Miguel Martinez, an Associate Attorney at KPB Immigration Law Firm, serves our community proficiently in both English and Spanish, hailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

With over 6 years of professional experience, Miguel has consistently achieved great success for KPB clients in all immigration forums. Miguel's legal focus encompasses a wide array of areas, including removal defense, family-based immigration, and humanitarian forms of relief. He particularly excels in handling immigration cases that involve complex criminal issues, offering expertise in post-conviction relief matters. Miguel is admitted to practice law in both California and Puerto Rico, as well as the Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, showcasing his commitment to serving clients across different jurisdictions.

With a solid educational background, Miguel earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Puerto Rico before pursuing his legal studies at the Interamerican School of Law, where he graduated with honors and received his J.D. Outside of his legal work, Miguel dedicates his time as a volunteer attorney at the International Institute of the Bay Area in Oakland, California, furthering his commitment to serving immigrant communities beyond his professional responsibilities. In his leisure time, Miguel enjoys spending quality moments with his family, indulging his passion for sports, and embarking on road trips to explore new destinations.
