Candela Nogueira is an Associate Attorney at Kerosky, Purves & Bogue LLP. She was born and raised in Argentina, where she graduated with honors at Universidad de Buenos Aires School of Law. Before moving to the United States, she worked at two boutique law firms specializing in family law and torts, and she was an in-house counsel for a multinational corporation in Argentina, advising in labor issues and contracts law. Candela moved to Chicago in 2010, where she volunteered at the Chicago Legal Clinic providing low-cost legal services to the community. She became interested in Immigration Law while pursuing her Paralegal Studies at San Francisco State University. She interned for the International Institute of the Bay Area and became the DACA program coordinator. She also volunteered for the Refugee and Immigrant services at Catholic Charities CYO. Candela is admitted to practice law in California and in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English and has a knowledge of French.
